Hermès Is Offering Compact Bag Styles At Affordable Prices With Mini Versions Of Their Star Bags Including Fan Favourites Lindy & Kelly!
Popular Hermès star bags Lindy, Kelly, Della Cavalleria have all launched in mini versions with sufficient bag capacity, with a sole focus on relatively affordable prices for fans.
Hermès is making owning brand-name bags more achievable by essentially offering a designer starter pack range to the market. In response to the prevalence of small bags, Hermès launched star bags Lindy, Kelly, Della Cavalleria in cute mini versions. Whilst the bags are smaller, each still has enough storage space to carry everyday items like mobile phones, wallets, keys and a lipstick. The brand’s aim is all around reducing the price point to enable a wider range of customers to experience their brand.
Kelly Mini
Hermès launched a mini version of Kelly back in the year 2000, with this being a key style that many fans dream of owning. The brand incorporates both wicker and leather to create the new summer Kelly Mini Picnic, which whilst compact, still retains plenty of space. The picnic style model is equipped with a detachable strap allowing for versatile wear, such as to be worn across the shoulder or held by hand.
Lindy Mini
Hermès's Lindy bag named after the double dance Lindy Hop is just as popular as the Kelly Bag. In autumn and winter of 2019, the brand welcomed a new family member Lindy Mini, which retained the original zipper opening detailing. Whilst the body of the bag is reduced in size, on the contrary the straps have been lengthened. With longer straps, wearability can be more diverse allowing multiple options to style the bag, such as over the shoulder or slanted across the body.
Verrou Chaîne Mini
The Verrou Chaîne Mini series, debuting in the 2017 spring and summer series, has been reinterpreted in a Verrou clutch style, named after the iconic metal buckle design. The brand revived certain details, adding a palladium-plated long chain strap design, making it perfect for a dinner bag or a more laid back cross-body bag, should you choose to remove the chain.
Della Cavalleria Mini
Hermès's latest Della Cavalleria Mini series officially launched in autumn and winter of 2020. It inherits the brand's long-standing equestrian spirit and integrates a delicate textured silver buckle lock for chicness. The curved surface and body’s flap design reflects the exquisite leather craftsmen of Hermès as a brand, which they take very seriously. The self-adjustable strap design means the model is suitable for daily casual cross-body wear or handheld as a sophisticated evening bag.
