4 TECHNIQUES TO CREATE THE MIXED-RACE LOOK OF THAI GIRLS

MASTER THE 4 LIGHT THAI MAKEUP TECHNIQUES TO CREATE A PRONOUNCED AND ELEGANT MIXED-RACE LOOK! | Goxip

In recent years, Korean makeup has been a hot trend in the international beauty scene, with its emphasis on flawless white skin, big beautiful eyes, and plumped heart-shaped lips. Nevertheless, a new trend is on the rise and that is the “light Thai makeup” which focuses on creating a mixed-race look. This is due more or less to the popularity of Thai actress and model Davika, who is known as “Thailand's No. 1 Beauty” with her prominent facial features and charming mixed-race look. The facial features of Asian women may not be as pronounced as their western counterparts, but that can be improved by applying light Thai makeup techniques to highlight the facial features. Let’s get started!

1. RULE #1 – THICK AND BUSHY EYEBROWS

We often notice that Thai women have naturally thick eyebrows, which makes their facial features more pronounced. How to create fuller-looking and bushy eyebrows? First, the shape of the brow need not be too arched, but instead it should have a round curve at the high point, then use the eyebrow pencil to fill out the brow with light strokes so that they resemble natural hair. Do not trace the outline of the brow, but brush some dark brown brow powder onto the head of the brow lightly to create a natural, feathery feel. Finally, add mascara and brush upwards to mimic the natural flow of hair growth.

2. RULE #2 – FULL, SEPARATED EYELASHES

Full, separated eyelashes make your eyes look bigger. To create long and voluminous eyelashes, you need to do some layering. First, apply eyelash primer as a base coat to strengthen the eyelashes and to amplify the effect of the mascara. Then, choose a lash lengthening mascara and apply it from the middle of the lashes and brush upwards. Repeat with a volumizing mascara as necessary. You can also use a liquid eyeliner to draw lower eyelashes to create a thicker, fuller look.

3. RULE #3 – HIGH STRAIGHT NOSE BRIDGE

To create the pronounced facial features of Thai women, contouring is essential. Choose a bronzing powder that is two shades darker than your skin tone, then apply it using a nose contour brush from the head of your brows down the nose bridge to the nose wings to create a natural-looking, high straight nose bridge. You can also apply a concealer that is one shade lighter than your skin tone to your nose bridge to add some highlighting/brightening effect.

4. RULE #4 – FULL AND PLUMP LIPS

Another emphasis of light Thai makeup is plump, rosy lips. First, use a nude lip pencil to trace the outline of your lips, starting at the corners of your mouth, the center-top and center-bottom of your lips, and then working outwards. Then fill in your lips with a rosy-colored lipstick, followed by applying a dab of coral lip gloss to the center of your lips to enhance their fullness and add luster and shine.
