To restore a healthy, glowing and youthful-looking face, first understand that the laugh lines, tear troughs and marionette lines are not separate and unrelated but instead are formed in relation to the triangular shape of the face. Thus, we should not focus on correcting each part independently, but rather keep in view of the triangle when doing an overall contouring and correction.

We can begin at the tear troughs. First, find the head of the tear trough. Then, starting from there, use a concealing pen to draw a line perpendicular to the nose bridge, then connect it to the tail of the tear trough, forming a small triangle. Fill in the triangle with the concealing pen and then use a sponge to blend in the concealer. You can also use a small makeup brush over the deepest part of the trough to heighten the effect.

Then comes the laugh lines. Starting from the head of the laugh line, use the concealing pen to draw a line at an angle of 75 degrees, then connect it with a perpendicular line towards the tail. Go back to the head and draw a line down to the mid-point between the nose wing and the upper lip, forming a triangle. Fill in the triangle with the concealing pen and blend in the concealer. This will cover the laugh lines, smoothen the skin, and even make the nose wing appear smaller.

Next, open the mouth slightly to find the head of the marionette lines. Use the concealing pen to draw a triangle outward from the head of the lines, connecting with the shadow underneath the lips. Same as previously, repeat the process of filling and blending in the concealer, thus covering the marionette lines and brightening up the dark areas under the lips.

Finally, apply a matte finishing powder to seal your makeup. It will help brighten up the whole visage while preventing reflection and keeping your skin looking healthy, natural and smooth.
