You Can Finally Shop The Louis Vuitton x NBA collection

After much speculation, LV has finally unveiled its NBA collection. The announcement came just last week after the 17th NBA championship season concluded with LeBron James and the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers taking home the coveted trophy, beating Miami Heat.

The collection was crafted under the watchful eye of artistic director Virgil Abloh, and includes everything from T-shirts, windbreakers, hoodies and leather bomber jackets. Abloh, is no newcomer to sportswear, with his own label Off-White being heavily influenced by sports and street culture.

Each piece in the collection is stitched with basketball patterning as well as co-branding and a silhouette that feature a basketball figure reminiscent to the NBA logo.

When it comes to accessories, there are plenty of bags to choose from in a wide range of styles and sizes, though the hero style has to be the monogrammed shoe bag. We’ve also definitely taken note of the Keepall, which is the collection’s take on LV’s classic leather holdall. Aside from logo trims, it also comes with a netted side detail similar to a basketball hoop. Same for the boxy Mini Soft Trunk, which is made to be worn slung across the body.

Other functional bag designs play on the colours red, white, and blue, on top of LV’s classic monogram, including the Christopher backpack and Nil messenger, and a new multi-pocket backpack with contrast straps. To round out the collection you can also shop leather belts and chunky gold chains and bracelets. As for footwear, there’s guaranteed to be a shoe that fits your fancy, with classic loafers, lace-up boots, Derbys and slip-on sneakers to choose from.
