Founded by Charles Beckman in Red Wing, Minnesota, Red Wing shoes were designed to provide comfort for hardworking people in the demanding work industries such as mining and farming. Over 110 years later, Red Wing is still headquartered in Red Wing, Minnesota, producing boots to protect workers in more than one hundred countries across the world. The Wacouta 3331 provides a lightweight, long-lasting comfort throughout Spring and Summer. Built on a Vibram? Honey-wheat outsole, with stitch down construction providing lightweight flexibility. Roughout leather is created using a reverse-suede technique at our very own S.B. Foot Tanning Co. While most tanneries split, thin and weaken the hide to create the rough suede surface, we simply use the other side of the hide. By doing so, we avoid splitting or thinning our full-grain hides. This makes our Roughout leather just as strong and durable as our other leathers. Leather: Copper Rough & Tough Construction: Vibram?
