If You Love COS Then You Need To Know These 3 Other Minimalist Brands

If You Love COS Then You Need To Know These 3 Other Minimalist Brands | Goxip

Trends come and go, but minimalism is one look that has never gone away. Sure, it might have been slightly overshadowed during Alessandro Michele’s breakout years at Gucci, but simple style, a look ruled by the Scandi set has proved itself to be a fashion mainstay.

It’s not hard to see why back-to-basics dressing is such a style favourite. Endlessly versatile, a wardrobe of simple, core pieces like crisp white shirting, throw-on linen dresses and fuss-free knitwear will see you through the seasons and ultimately the years. And a pared-back look doesn’t have to be boring. We love simple neutral shades, but injections of pastels and the odd pop of colour can be added in too for a look that is straight out of the Céline fashion handbook.

Minimalists, listen up, there’s always more room for clean lines, pale hues and structural separates in your autumn wardrobe. If you’re a COS girl (which, we bet you are) you are sure to love these niche brands like COS that we rate just as much.

CO

The CO from Los Angeles is not only similar in name to COS, but its designs also have a very similar feel. Founded by the couple Stephanie Danan and Justin Kern, the brand imbues a similar COS-like sensibility into its collections, which are filled with loose-fitting shapes and clothes that speak to a sophisticated woman.

ARKET

If you are after quality wardrobe staples then Arket will be your fashion dream. As the sister brand to COS, it’s no surprise that it’s filled with Scandi staples, like perfectly cut T-shirts, straight-leg jeans and lots and lots of great knitwear. It has everything you need to create a wardrobe full of modern basics.

WEEKDAY

Like COS, Weekday is another part of the H&M group, so it's no surprise that it carries the same cool, Scandi vibe as COS. Weekday, however, is more streetwear orientated featuring lots of breezy dresses, flat sandals and wide-leg trousers that are interwoven with urban staples like hoodies, motif tees and cycling shorts.

CHARLES & KEITH

CHARLES & KEITH are known for leather goods that are really quite spectacular. They have a knack for taking timeless shapes and styles and adding a unique modern twist (like sandals with a sculptural mini heel or a bag rendered in a circular shape). Not just handbags and shoes, they also offer a whole range of accessories from belts, sunglasses and bracelets.
