Just when you thought the ugly shoe trend was dead, just in time for winter Louis Vuitton introduced its new Pillow boot. The ‘ugly’ boot of the season, the Pillow Boot was first debuted on the Spring/Summer 2021 runway show.

This is one of many viral ‘ugly’ designs that Virgin Abloh, who took over as LV’s creative director back in 2018 has come out with. As expected, hypebeasts were quick to comment on the new shoe after its debut on the runway, making it one of the highly anticipated item to drop from the latest collection.

Versatile in design, the Pillow boot can be worn in all seasons of the year thanks to its free-flowing shape and fit. Simply by pulling the rope toggle laces, you can make a more secure fit which is perfect for winter, or loosen them when we come into spring.

The pillowy design also comes complete with a flat sole and the house’s signature monogram motif on the lining. Made entirely from waterproof nylon, it promises to keep your feet dry inside the well-structured interior, which despite its loose shape is designed to hold your feet snugly in place.

Coming in black, white, or khaki, the new boot can be bought online or in Louis Vuitton stores from December 2.
