Meet Salvatore Ferragamo’s New Viva Bow Bag

Salvatore Ferragamo is known for cult shoe designs, he was employed by Audrey Hepburn after all and quickly found fame as the shoe designer of Hollywood. After founding his own brand, the designer became known for cult shoe designs like the Viva and even today the tradition lives on with the brand’s most recent addition to the Viva family - the Viva Bow Bag and Viva pumps.

Continuing Ferragamo’s heritage of innovation, the Viva Bow bag takes design cues from the past and makes them feel fresh and modern for today’s woman. The Viva bag comes decorated with the house’s signature grosgrain bow which can found on the Vara bag. The bow is made from lightly padded soft leather with a lacquered clasp both of which are coloured to match the body of the bag. The Viva Pumps which were designed by Creative Director Paul Andrew and are an update on the timeless Vara style. The Viva comes with a new sculpted block heel, and like any Ferragamo signature, also has the Vara bow, except now, the bow is larger than the original version in grosgrain, and constructed of the same material as the entire shoe.
