The Summer Outfits That Will Make You Want To Go Outside <br/> | Goxip

We get it, exercising in 34-degree heat is hard. Maybe, make that unbearable, but only just, since luckily, there are some small hacks we can all incorporate into our summer wardrobe that will allow you to beat the heat and actually enjoy being active outside.

The trick it seems, all lies in what you wear and the summer basics you own. Think breathable basics, relaxed fits and technical synthetics that will keep you dry and comfortable when working up a sweat. Even better, with the rise of athleisure fashion, the best sportswear is no longer made to be just be wearing when out on a jog. Today, the best activewear fashion can be worn to the gym, lunch with friends and even to the office. All you need is a few key items that will allow you to easily switch up your look, no matter where you’re off too. To help you out, we’ve listed our top summer styles that you need in your wardrobe now.

Colorful picnic

Nothing says summer, quite like a picnic. With warm summer days ahead, there’s nothing like spending an afternoon outside and enjoying the weather at your local park. We might be biased, but whether it’s for reading a good book in the grass or picnicking with your friends, the right picnic outfit will take your time outdoors to the next level. We suggest investing in a couple of crop tops that can be paired with everything from jeans, to midi skirts and leggings. And since its summer why not opt for something colourful, a pastel tone is a must this season.

Enjoyable exercise

Since exercise is unavoidable, you might as well at least look cute whilst doing it. Like we said, summer in Hong Kong reads: sweat. To help ward this off when exercising outside, we suggest skipping the layers (and sweaty T-shirt stains) and simply go for a sports bra and shorts. Even better, when not exercising we love how a sports bra can lend a cool, athletic edge to everyday outfits. Try it with high-waisted Mom jeans for a 90s look.

Chilling Days

Every stylish woman needs a streamlined selection of basics in her wardrobe, including a good quality T-shirt in every shade. We recommend keeping it neutral by going for a style in either white, cream, black or grey, however, stripes and muted pastels are also great options. We love the fact that a T-shirt can be paired with just about anything and is a fail-safe option that will solve all outfit dilemmas. Shop our favourites below.

Beach Vibes

In recent years the one-piece has made a comeback and we couldn’t be happier. Comfortable and supremely flattering on just about any body type, a good swimsuit deserves a place in every summer wardrobe. However, despite a good swimsuit being easy to find, most of us have trouble over what to pair it with when en route too and from the beach. The best solution to this is to throw-on an oversized T-shirt. A stylish borrowed-from-the-boys design will both be cool and comfortable on a hot summer’s days and even better, just add denim and some gold jewellery and you’ll be beach bar appropriate.
