Kim Jones Joins Kim Kardashian For The Ultimate Fendi x Skims Debut Collaboration

In July of this year, the queen of social media Kim Kardashian West visited Fendi’s studio in Rome and met with Fendi’s Creative Director Kim Jones, leading to a joint fashion project. The two plan to launch a joint Fendi X Kim Kardashian’s Skims series together.

The series uses SKIMS's consistent nude colour scheme, which includes a cluster of fitted dresses, tops, and leggings, with prices ranging from about $950 to $1,100. The down jacket is $2,950, and of course Fendi’s classic patterns are repeated throughout for a touch of classical branding. The iconic patterns are present on everything from the shapewear and socks, to the swimsuits and even the leather wrap skirts which are available in eight different tones, priced at $4,200. The neutral colours decorated with the Fendi logo make a perfect match!

This Fendi x SKIMS series is inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s 1979 Fendi series sketches, which combine strapless off-the-shoulder top styles, bright colours and tight-fitting straps, with Skims’ classic close-fitting tailoring, to link Fendi’s past with the unique and modern style of today. The bright colours are used in the beachwear and slim corsets; with the double-sided elastic tights decorated with the Fendi x Skims logo, which you’ll also find printed on every item!
